It all started way back in 1950s when sabudana was a newly established product, our forefather Shri “Chellakannudaiyar” was a close aid of Shri “Manika Chettiar” who is widely considered to be the founder of sabudana, so started a manufacturing unit in Minnampally a village in Salem District with a daily production of 10 90kg bags and later his daughter’s family started a new unit in 1974 lately known as Shri Subramaniam sago factory, we have started supplying of sabudana and Starch to North Indian states from 1992. Since 2018 we are exporting our products and other native South Indian spices,millets,grains and pulses.
